Au pair requirements

  • You are 18 to 30 years old.
  • You speak a sufficient level of English or Norwegian.
  • You have never been married and have no children.
  • You can afford your travel costs.

  • You have at least one child under the age of 18.
  • You speak Norwegian with your family every day.
  • You and your au pair have different nationalities.
  • You have a private bedroom in your home for the au pair to live in.
  • You have completed the online training course for host families in Norway by the Norwegian government.
