Find a family
We are a warm and welcoming family looking for somebody who is caring, reliable and would genuinely like to make a positive impact on our daughter's life. As experienced hosts we have provided a number of previous Au Pairs a home from which to explore life in the UK. Living 30 minutes from the Centre of London offers a great balance to discover the City as well as to enjoy the calm of the country side. As a German-British family, English and German are spoken in the house and it would be good if you had a good level in at least one of these two languages and some knowledge of the other. We are a fun-loving family who is always on the go. Our son (16) is now at boarding school. We, therefore, are seeking help with looking after our daughter (8). She is a loving, curious and sporty little girl. She needs somebody who is prepared to invest in building a strong 'big sister' relationship. Mum and Dad both work but also often from home so there is usually somebody available to ask and we offer a very supportive environment. We all have different hobbies. Father and son particularly like football and tennis. Our son is also very musical and plays the piano and the violin to a good standard. Our daughter is still in the exploratory phase trying a variety of sports and other activities. She particularly enjoys football, gymnastics, drama and taekwondo. At home she spends a lot of time drawing, colouring in and jumping on the trampoline. Mum loves dancing. Together we enjoy going out for meals, meeting friends, weekend trips and travelling.
We are Charlie (37) and Chloe (35), we live in Nottingham and both have careers which require us to travel to London (and Charlie sometimes internationally. I work in HR and Charlie works in Communications. We met 10 years ago when we both worked at HSBC in London 🥰 Now we have two beautiful girls who are lots of fun! Our eldest is just turning 5 and is at school! She loves arts, crafts, role play and the movie Frozen. She has lots of energy and the best smile. Our youngest is 18 months old and is just finding her voice. She gives the best cuddles and will happily cuddle in to you for ages. As a family, we love to cook. Charlie is the chef and I'm the baker. We to get the kids involved and they love it too. We are also a very active family and love going to the gym. Charlie is a great runner and I'm more in to pilates and strength training. Both the girls love to swim. We love to travel and explore new cultures so we would love to welcome you to our family!
Hi my name is Sebe married to my lovely husband Stewart we have 3kids one girl and twin boys.We are in uk. We normally attend church on Sunday. We enjoy going out during weekends or holidays ❤️🌹
We are a lovely family. Our daughter is over 2 years old and she is very cheerful. She likes listening to music and reading picture books. She can understand some simple English. The host dad and I own our own business and get busy occasionally. We go to parks and farms when the weather is nice on weekends. We live in Hangzhou City, the capital of Zhejiang province. It's really beautiful here. You can take a walk around the western lake. Transportation is very convenient as well. You can go to most attractions by Metro.
We are originally from South Africa, and moved to the UK 6 years ago. Although we haven't hosted an au pair before, we have had siblings and friends live with us on and off over the years, and we like to think that we have a very welcoming home. Eleanor is our first daughter and she is a lovely but busy young lady! We both have relatively busy careers, although we do both have some flexibility to work from home, so we are often on hand. We are looking forward to welcoming someone into our home who is enthusiastic and kind. We live in Bedfordshire but both commute into London regularly. The town of Harpenden is nearby, and has good shopping/food/pubs as well as lovely parks and woodland for walks.
We have recently moved from South Africa to the UK we are living in Warwickshire - kids are 6 and 9 Kids love walks and going to the park I work alot and need someone reliable

In this video, we will ll share with you what you can expect from the au pair experience and the incredible benefits of embarking on this unique journey as an au pair.
Some au pair agencies can be a bit more hands-off. Okay, we don’t like to brag or anything, but we often hear that we are super involved and know what’s up with the legislation laws. Moving abroad is a big step! It’s an exciting adventure and we guide you in every step no matter where in the world you are for the best cultural exchange and work abroad experience!
Your main responsibility will be toward the children. Spending time with children is one of the most rewarding parts of the au pair job abroad as you build lasting connections with your host kids. Alongside the children, you also will be responsible for light household tasks that fall within your schedule per week.
If you are talking to multiple host families, it is important to align on what your expectations are for the year. Some host families want an au pair available during the day for their children and others want more morning help before school and evening help after school.
Personality and how you would like to spend your free time should also be considered when choosing the host family that is a good fit for you. By doing this, you will help yourself be the perfect au pair for your host family too!
It can always happen that the vibes are off in your new house or you disagree with a family member. This is why you discuss a notice agreement. This is usually 1 or 2 months. Actually, this almost never happens because you get to know your host family and children beforehand so you know about their family life. If you don’t like your host family, we’ll go look for another host family!
In addition to room and board which is a private room in the house and food for meals, au pairs are paid monthly pocket money by their host family that they can spend in their free time. The amount depends on which country you want to au pair in but should be enough money to enjoy the local culture. Check out the pocket money in your host country.
In most countries, you are also entitled to payment from your host family in the form of a language course to improve your language skills. You can learn English or learn a new language depending on your goals and how you want to integrate with your new culture. In other countries, this money can be allocated to other learning opportunities if you would like to opt out of language courses.
Yes! Au pairs are entitled to a certain amount of paid holiday depending on the country they are in. You should check with your host family to find the best week to go. Traveling is a wonderful opportunity to see some of the best scenery your host country or neighboring countries have to offer and a great way to meet other like-minded young people. You can check the rules regarding holiday leave per country right here.
I became an au pair abroad because I love cultural exchanges and I wanted to experience it while becoming a member of a local family. I enjoy languages 🗣️, traveling ✈️ and engaging with other cultures. Being an au pair gives me that possibility daily. I learn a lot from the three children I look after and I’ve built a connection with them that I will carry in my heart forever. ❤️
I’ve made some amazing friends here and have unforgettable memories with them. I’ve also had many opportunities to travel✈️ Being an au pair abroad has been such an amazing experience, and it’s changed my life living with the most amazing host parents and kids. 👨👩👧 Leaving my home country to come here was difficult, having to say goodbye to everything I knew and loved. But when it comes time to leave here, it will be even more difficult. But I’ll be walking away with amazing memories that will last a lifetime, and that’s something I’ll be forever grateful for! ❤️
Great and great service! I would say I had a great and wonderful experience because the team is made up of great people. From the very beginning until now that I am here in the Netherlands, they have been in constant communication with me. Michelle was just so helpful in everything. Everything just goes smoothly with the process and assures you of what will happen next. Thank you, Nina.care!
I had a hard time at the beginning of my arrival, but luckily Nina.care’s au pair agency was always there to help. Gave me advice and tips. After three months in the Netherlands, I was finally able to adapt and learn new things. Get out of my comfort zone and try to do my best as an au pair. I remember it very well, when I arrived in the Netherlands I received a package from Nina.care, containing several welcome gifts for me because I had arrived in the Netherlands. I was touched and happy.
